Tim Humphrey has entertained audiences up and down the west coast for 10 years as a full time Professional entertainer. His client list includes professional athletes, celebrities, major industry leaders and major corporations. When it comes to the highly discerning client, Tim is often a first call for high impact events.
His dedication to his craft includes attending DJ industry events around the country and traveling to attend Master of Ceremony workshops conducted by the premier trainers in the country. His consistent caliber of work has earned him 19 entertainment industry awards and his projects have been published in several wedding industry publications.
but how he got here is another story.
Tim began working in live entertainment after landing a spot on a pilot for a late-night talk show as a writer and as a production assistant. Over the series, his roll expanded to play on-air positions and appear in sketch comedy skits. After working in front of a studio audience, Tim had been bitten by the live entertainment bug.
Later, Tim landed on a production team that traveled to major sporting competitions. His experience included opportunities to cover the College World Series, the Arena Football Championship, and Superbowl XL. Tim was able to refine his interviewing skills to get the human interest story behind the athletes and the jerseys they wore. He discovered he was fascinated by the opportunity to share that these players had stories and not just roster numbers.
In 2005, Tim received a last minute call from a good friend who needed assistance with an event that was taking place in Seattle. He arrived to assist in the production only to find out that the DJ who was handling the music was a no-show.
He began working on a contract basis with a large DJ company to assist with productions when they were over capacity and needed technical personnel. He quickly learned that the company’s philosophy of a “boxed” wedding experience didn’t lead to a genuine connection with the client. While working with the company, Tim realized there was more that he could contribute to a wedding to build real relationships and genuine connections. He began Ideal Entertainment out of the desire to provide something truly special and client-inspired for those who wanted a once-in-a lifetime celebration.
Since creating Ideal Entertainment, hundreds of couples have experienced beautifully unique celebrations that exquisitely capture the essence of their personalities. But Tim’s greatest achievement is the relationships he’s gained as a result of adding value to people’s lives through producing creative, authentic, and engaging events.

Tim can be found riding his motorcycle in search of the most beautiful roads in the Pacific Northwest. He is a self proclaimed boat-aholic and can often be found wake-surfing on Lake Washington or chasing salmon up and down the Washington coast.
He and his wife, Yanitza enjoy wine tasting throughout Washington’s many wineries and you can often find them enjoying a great bottle of Cabernet. They enjoy traveling, camping, and seeking out new adventures. They love spending time with their families, even making trips to Yanitza’s home country of Puerto Rico to visit family. Tim and Yanitza live Snohomish Washington with their two little girls, Riley and Annalise.
